GAW Radio Frequencies

Radio Frequencies Table | Address: dcs.hoggitworld.com
Designator Frequency Crypto Function Owner (NCS) TACAN
UHF GUARD 243.000 //// UHF GUARD \\\\
VHF GUARD 121.500 //// VHF GUARD \\\\

IF RADIOS SUPPORT GUARD MONITOR, PLAYERS SHOULD ENSURE THEIR RADIOS ARE CONFIGURED FOR GUARD MONITORING. Guard frequences shall only be used for EMERGENCIES IF NOT ON A COMMON OR ATC FREQUENCY, or in case a TOWER or MAGIC controller needs to contact a flight that is on a frequency not monitored by TOWER or MAGIC. DO NOT USE GUARD FOR MISSION PURPOSES OR CONTROLLING.

ATC 249.500 Airfield Traffic TOWER (Human)
CVN 127.500 Carrier Traffic Stennis 074X
LHN 131.500 LHN Traffic LHN 075X

PLAYERS SHOULD CHECK IN ON THE APPLICABLE ATC FREQUENCY AS SOON AS RADIOS HAVE POWER AVAILABLE. Use this freq for all ATC communications. If a human controller is not on station, continue to use this frequency and call out important information, such as starting to taxi, holding short of a runway, lined up and/or taking off on a runway, inbound, downwind/base/final calls when landing (if able), when clear of a runway, and any other information needed to prevent any aircraft collisions. Common 253.000 Common MAGIC (Human)

Used for general mission coordination and command/control. Aircraft will always check in on this frequency after departing an airfield and entering the combat area. When a human controller is on station, they will direct flights to push to different frequencies in order to minimize traffic on this frequency. When no controllers are on station, all aircraft will monitor this frequency in order to provide a common means for deconfliction and to prevent fratricide.

CAP Alpha 133.000 AI AWACS OVERLORD

When no human controller is on station, this frequency will be used by all aircraft performing CAP. CAP aircraft will utilize this frequency to contact the AI AWACS (Overlord) and request intercept information. They will also utilize this frequency for all CAP interflight calls.

CAP Victor 134.000 Human GCI MAGIC
CAP Uniform 257.500 Human GCI (UHF) MAGIC

When a human controller is on station, they will direct CAP aircraft to use these frequencies to communicate with Human AWACS (MAGIC) for intercept control and tasking, as well as flight coordination and threat warning information for all CAP aircraft. CAP Aircraft should use their own intraflight frequencies for internal calls. CAP V and U are functionally identical, and controllers should simulcast on both frequencies while controlling fighters. Strike 135.000 Strike/SEAD MAGIC

This frequency is for use by Strike and SEAD aircraft for ground target tasking in order to avoid clutter on Common. All Strike and SEAD aircraft will monitor Common if enough radios are available. If not, they will check in on Common BEFORE switching to this frequency.

Heli Interflight 30.000 Heli Interflight All Helos
A-10 Interflight 44.500 A-10 Intraflight Hawg
SU-25 Interflight 50.000 SU-25 Intraflight Chevy
AV-8B Interflight 259.000 AV-8B Intraflight Ford
F/A-18 Interflight 260.000 F/A-18 Intraflight Uzi
Badger Interflight 271.000 Badger Intraflight VFA-69

These interflight frequencies will be used by their respective airframes or flights when enough radios are available and/or when directed by MAGIC. HAWG and CHEVY aircraft should have enough radios to utilize their freq, Common, and the Strike freq simultaneously. CAP aircraft will utilize these freqs AND the CAP freq in lieu of Common when directed by MAGIC, OR Common and the AI AWACS frequency when no human controller is present.
